Your own playing is pretty impressive, Ron (on the odd occasion I've heard it, that is)!

I've heard from Tony Dobson and the the rest of "Quiff & The Shades".

Available songs for players backed by the band will be...

[ahem]...

DEFINITES:
Riders In The Sky ( with Apache intro and live 2004 final tour ending )
The Stranger ) Can segue these two as per live 2004 final
Kontiki ) tour versions if you like.
Atlantis
Foot Tapper
Peace Pipe
Guitar Tango
Gonzales
Wonderful Land
Apache
F.B.I.
Sleepwalk
The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt

POSSIBLES (should be OK):

Shadoogie '83 (ie, the "modern" live version)
Geronimo
The Frightened City
Theme for Young Lovers
The Rumble
Man of Mystery
Don't Cry For Me Argentina ( live final tour 2004 version with repeated ending sequence)
Shindig
Blue Star
Dance On
The Savage
Find Me A Golden Street

Anyone want to put dibs on any of these?

JN (and SpencerS)

Hi Jim & Spence,

I would not mind playing Peace Pipe & Blue Star with the Band on the 6th July.

Cheers,

Bob Withrington

Ron,

Thank you for your kind comments. I do not think in all the years I have been risking my neck going south of the river to various clubs i have ever heard you play. Get practising and help make up the numbers.

Paul

Now - here's a funny thing.... (Max Miller, for all you youngsters).

On Wednesday, June and I will be in Ross on Wye...........visiting June's brother

I've desperately tried to secretly find a way of hurtling back up the M4 to be with you all, but what with the cost of fuel, an average speed of 36mph (the national average), I think it's gonna be a bit of a no-no.

So. I'm not sure if I'm imparting good news or not. (I suspect that most will see it as............... what d'you reckon, Jim?)

However, if the boys in the band could reserve "Shindig" and "Theme.........Lovers", I'd like to do them next time round - if there possibly is a next time round.

So - Have a good evening - and turn up the wick !!

By the way, MTB - the CH unit sounds great.

Hope to see you all in August.

June sends her love..............

David.
