On Friday 9th March the Club will be holding what is in danger of becoming an annual event, namely the Northern Ireland Shadows Club Birthday Bash.

At last year's gig we learnt the sad news of the passing of Jet Harris and this year we will be raising funds for the Jet Harris Memorial Fund in aid of Cancer Research UK for research into Cancer of Unknown Primary.

All the popular Shadows hits will be played with a full band and we'll also have Cliff and the Shadows vocal numbers and a special 'Jet Set' to mark the occasion.

Everyone is welcome to attend and tickets are available at £10 each which includes an excellent buffet. The venue is the Civil Service Pavilions Complex in Dundonald, Belfast and the action starts about 7:30pm and ends when it ends

There will also be a small raffle in aid of the fund and if anyone has any items they'd like to donate for prizes we would be very grateful.

Hi guys,
Thanks to all for the good wishes. On the night we raised £602 and when the dvds are sold this should end up around £750. It was a great night and a great atmosphere,everyone did us proud.

Hi Phil , Ive just played the dvd you sent me ,, and its great to see so many Shads players enjoying themselves .
Looks like all the guys had a fantastic night , and raised a fair amount of cash too.
