I still have a Marvin pick safely stored in a Shadows pick box.
The box is rather small and made from clear plastic with a sliding top printed with a black image of The Shadows in silhouette......
I suspect they must be quite rare on the scale of Shadows memorabilia.

Come to think, I bet I've got one in a box stored away in the bowels of the loft somewhere . . . .

Ecca is spot on about the tortoiseshell picks, and about the impact on tone of that material. Had one for years - nothing like it now, or so I thought.
About a year ago I ordered some buffalo horn picks - the "sarod" variety that have an indent for grip - absolutely brilliant - best picks in the world for tone . Highly recommended. What did you think, Ecca ?
