Just thought I'd mention that after buying and trying the Gemini III that John Miller recently sold to me, I can honestly say that it's the single easiest piece of kit I have ever used to obtain the definative 'That Sound' . Somehow it achieves the goal with any one on my echo machines and with any guitar amp. So far I have tried it with my Mesa Boogie Mk III, the Peavey Delta Blues 115, Vox AC-30/4, Vox VT-30 Valvetronix and Vox AC-4. The echoes I tried with it are the H&C, eTap2 valve, Zoom MS-100BT, ESE Ecomatic and my regular Vox Tonelab SE. Similar results are obtained with an Ariab box, but the Gemini III has the edge for me. I only wish I could have got my hands on one years ago when they were imtroduced. :)

Yes I can imagine that working quite well. As any sound engineer will tell you, it's always better to reduce the frequencies you don't want, rather than just boost the ones you do.

That's right, the problem is that most amps don't give the option to reduce frequencies you don't want, it was definitely a studio job at the mixing stage, my guess the parametric EQ. :)

What is really clever with this pedal is that it isn't just a filter.

Truly excellent.

Hi Dave. I totally agree with you! I use the Gemini 111 with a recently acquired Vox Night Train 15 watt amp and a HCSE. Both the Gemini & the HCSE are amazing pedals!

Hello all,
Greetings again from the colonies.
Can anyone advise if the Gemini III is still available for purchase.
Cheers,
JB

Hi JB. This pedal was discontinued a few years ago. They occasionally appear on Fleebay, and on the Charlie Hall and Friends website. (Where I found mine)
