Hi Gege,
Great sound  - what equipment are you using and is the de-Hanked backing track available?

Martyn

Gégé is using many equipments, mainly a Rocktron Prophesy preamp for tone, a Q20 for echoes, but don't expect to get the same sound just by using the same gear. The main difficulty is to find the right settings (different for each tune). Gégé has gained much experience with countless hours of testing for some ten years...

De-Hanked BT are not available. You have to make them yourself, using the right software for solist removal (it doesn't work for all tunes, it all depends on how the stereo mix was made).

Wonderful. Gege switches pick-ups in the middle of the tune - from bridge to middle then back to bridge again for the main melody?

Of course !
Selecting the right PU at the right time is part of the game, just as playing the right Strat (maple or rosewood fingerboard) !

Gege',

You have done an utterly superb job in replicating the original sound. Bravo.

Didier,
I am impressed by the knowledge you have acquired on the matter for a non (guitar) playing person.

Blessings,
Abel
