Where to buy eTap2hw kit?

Sorry if there is an answer to this somewhere here - I did look hard, honest!

I also tried to find it on the link to the Newtone website that Piet gives in his blog but no luck there either :(

I have been very impressed with the demo recordings of Dave Robinson using this new hardware unit that Piet has put so much research and effort into. A big thanks to him for all his hard work

Thanks in anticipation,

Phil.

Hi Phil

Here's a link to the Newtone kit info. I suggest you email them at the address in the document and they will arrange to send you a Paypal invoice.

Thanks Keith but I'm actually looking forward to building it myself. I've built all sorts of stuff from amps to effect pedals but have not done any for a number of years. I should be ok as long as the old eyesight is up to it - I'll keep the magnifying glass handy ;)

Your'll need a magnifying glass, a steady hand and a small soldering iron because the PCB is a lot smaller than it looks
on the Echotapper site.

Best regards,
BAZ.

Cheers Baz.

Magnifying glass - check
Small Soldering Iron - check
Steady Hand -

I have three kits on order with Newtone. How does the size of the PCB compare with, say, a credit card?

Phil.

Hi Phil

The motherboard is about 1/2in bigger than a credit card in both dimensions. The daughterboard (pre-assembled) is about 1/3 the size of a credit card.

There's a support etc forum here if you're interested
