New Club-Wilts/Somerset Border?

Hi all....anyone interested in getting together to play some 50's/60's? There appears to be a gap in the Wiltshire/Somerset area with nowhere for likeminded musicians to meet up/play/gig. The nearest clubs being an hour and a half away. I'm happy to take the lead for anyone interested in meeting up, even if it's just for an initial chat or jam. All instruments and vocals welcome. I'm near Trowbridge, Wilts. ( I also run the Rockin' At The 2i's Facebook page, please take a look)

Hi Neil,

I run a guitar event in Bournemouth which is run on a similar basis to the Shadows clubs but where you can play any guitar music on an electric guitar and add vocals if you wish. We meet in a pub and play to backing tracks on the first Tuesday of the month. We also meet in the afternoon on the third Wednesday of the month where we are practicing and trying new things and we're aiming to get a band together. We need a rhythm guitar player so last month we all practiced playing a few numbers so we can swap around playing lead and rhythm. We also need a drummer but we're working on that.
