A Tune what we wrote for Audrey

As many of you will no doubt know, Audrey has had to suffer a lot of heavy nasties lately. More so than most of us, and all at the one time.
Bob Brown in Sydney and myself have written and recorded this little tribute especially for Audrey, which we hope in some way might cheer her up.
It is entitled, simply 'Song for Audrey'.

AND . . . guys, if there's once posting we hope you will all not fail to respond to, please let it be this one, I'm sure she would appreciate it.

What a beautiful thing to do, chaps. I know Audrey will appreciate this wonderful gesture immeasurably.

I have struggled so much with issues in my own personal life that I have been a pretty rubbish friend to Audrey over the past year or two. It cannot be overstated just what a wonderful person Audrey is, and Barry, too. I have never in my life met anyone - ANYONE - so humble, self-sacrificing and generous as these two remarkable people. Barry gladly offers his time, talents and resources to assist people who haven't even asked for his help. Audrey has dedicated her life to helping others, all the while having to constantly deal with pressures and heartaches that many others rarely (or never) encounter. She is always there to listen and provide a shoulder to cry on, no matter what she is going through at the time. I have no idea how she manages to accomplish the amount she does. I count myself extremely lucky - nay, unworthy - to count her as a friend.

Ian, Bob: the track is excellent. It could be a lost Shadows recording from the 1980s.

Hi Everyone,

I don't know what to say ....
Ian ... "pink" doesn't even come close!!! I'm bright red with embarrassment!!
I can only say a huge "Thank You" to everyone for your very kind words and thoughts and a special thank you to Ian and Bob for writing and recording this beautiful tune. It has cheered me up no end and I appreciate it very much.
I would also like to send my thoughts and best wishes to anyone else who is going through a tough time at the moment.
