Cotton Pickin' Free BT & Tabs. on a 1963 Telecaster

I'm not expecting any replies but posting it here in case someone wants the Free BT & Tabs.

Cotton Pickin’ is one of the tracks from “The Sound of The Shadows “ which is the fourth rock album by British instrumental group The Shadows, released in 1964 through Emi records.

I’m using this track as a demo of my recently restored 1963 Fender Telecaster.(Alan Brason built the neck and re-built the guitar)
(No Tremolo required ! Lol)

The original lead was played on a Burns guitar – The nearest equivalent on a Telecaster was the Neck pickup where I use a DiMarzio “Twang King”.
Through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 patch 1-68 (Classic Twang).

Which bit of the Tele date from 1963, please? I know you said the neck is new (and it would have to be, since Fender didn't do maple necks in the early sixties), but what about the pickguard, hardware and electronics? I assume the body is the biggest original part.

Hi Jim - It's just the body that's from 1963 all the other parts are new.

I sourced most of them from the USA.
Alan's Birds eye Maple came from Baltimore.

The previous owner of the body owned it since 1970 - He sold the original neck as he needed the money, Had the body stripped of paint in the '80's and decided to auction it off in 2016.

I've always been a fan of Maple necks even as you pointer out it wouldn't be what was used in 1963.
