Sorry Abel, I forgot to give you the link https://www.gear4music.com/Recording-an ... ocket/13CV
It's a little device with two microphones and attaches to the iphone by cable. It also sits the iphone at an angle to point at you for making videos.
The added attraction is that it's cheap, I assume you can get it in the States.

Apologies once again,

Len

Thank you much folks for your pertinent input.

Jim,
I will try to lower the pups and see if that helps reduce the gain.

Len,
I will get this cheap unit, but please enlighten me on how to use it.
I see that it has 2 built in mics, and they are farther apart than those in my camcorder, which is a good thing I suppose.

Do I need to plug the guitar into it?
What about the P.A. playing the backing tack ?
Or do I just record live with the iPhone plugged into the unit in fron of me?
How far? because the sound coming form the amp and the P.A. is very loud, just like on a stage.
Will it clip?

Thank you both,
Abel

Hi Abel,

I understand your confusion with this but it couldn't be simpler. First you download 'Impact by Focusrite' from the app store, the app comes with a tutorial. The device itself comes with a lead to connect to your phone and all you have to do is select your camera, set it to video and press record. The stereo microphones are in the base. I haven't experienced any clipping, but I only play through a small amp, with the backing played through an acoustic amp on the floor. I can't speak for your PA. Didn't you buy a Fender Mustang amp?

Perhaps if you download the app first and watch the tutorial it may explain it better. I only suggested this because it's a lot cheaper than a top range video camera system.

With crossed fingers,

Len

Hi Len,

Thank you much, just ordered it.

I do play through a Mustang IV amp.

Blessings,
Abel
