Gary and Paul got together last weekend and had a few too many reds… this is the result.

The 'solo' part in that tune is far from easy and Gary made a great job of it. :)

Hi Spike and the team,

A crisp and bouncing production with all the Shads ingredients in it (sound, playing, drive etc...).

Very enjoyable.
The melody line could be a little bit more forward, but it would take away anything from it.

Blessings,
Abel

Thanks for your kind comments.

You may be interested in how we put it all together. Gary played the melody (Strat with Kinman Impersonator 54 pickups) direct to computer with an over driven amp sim and TVS3 set to a 310 mSec delay, He also played the electric guitar backing (Strat with CS 54’s) through an AC15 clone and TVS3 with The Stranger echo setting as well as the backing acoustic guitars. I played the solo (Strat with CS 54’s) through the AC15 clone and TVS3, again with The Stranger echo setting. All of this overlaid a midi backing track and was mixed down with a little reverb on the electric guitars and some overall multiband compression to meld it all together and give a bit more kick to the midi backing.

Paul.
