Candlelight

Lots of people tend to think of Wishbone Ash as just another heavy rock band yet nothing could be further from the truth. I'd say they were more like prog, as many of their album tracks show distinct folk, classical and medieval influences.

Candlelight, the final track from New England is a good example. The album was recorded in a huge country house the band had rented, and it's easy to imagine them sitting there after dinner, noodling away on a couple of guitars.

I discovered the backing track for this on YouTube, but parts of it were badly out of time so much editing was required - also I couldn't resist the opportunity to add the bass and a few other little touches. Enjoy.
