I'm honoured to be the first to comment.
Lisa has such a strong unique sounding voice. The melody was not predictable (lots of musical twists and turns) and the harmonies were spot on. The video was inventive and suited the song beautifully. I loved it!

Hi Phil and Lisa, That was just super pro!! Very much like the music produced for Emmy Lou Harris by Daniel Lanois on her Wrecking Ball album. Lisa has a brilliant voice with great harmonies. I only felt that her vocals could have been a little louder in some places, maybe even just 2db. And Congratulations on a brilliant composition!! What a family!

Thank you Mike, Lynn & Charles for your kind comments which I've passed on to Lisa who says a big thank you.
The song is growing on me now I've had a chance to play it a few times.

Cheers Phil

Hi Phil
Marvellous! A couple of days away and when I come back there is always something good and new to listen to and enjoy.
An unusual style - reminded me of Martin Josephs music for some reason.
Loved it. Great harmonies, especially towards the end.
And - Lisa can turn cartwheels too!! Enjoyed the Benny Hill speed up.
cheers

Thank you Spike and thank you Ian - from Lisa.
Yes I liked the Benny Hill bit near the end -
I wondered where those footprints in the snow came from - thought the postman had gone round in circles.

Cheers Phil

Charles Campbell has added some clever "Reverse Lead" infils to the track and some straight guitar playing towards the end.
Many thanks Charles for your interest and great ideas - shows how good this community is where other players help one ond another out.

Here is a link to the "Pink Roses Remix featuring Charles Campbell on lead guitar!"

Thank you for posting that Phil, I just loved the song, Well written and sung by Lisa, she has tremendous talent and it was a real pleasuer to add some lead bits, although just for my own satisfaction. There's not a lot done really but most of what I did, I reversed and then added a short break near the end.
It was good of you to post it, I can only assume that Lisa gave a stamp of approval.

Hope we hear more from her.
Cheers CC
