Lockdown Session 4* brings us as up-to-date as I've yet got, with the opening track from 2014's 'Hank'. As soon as I heard it I could immediately envisage Hank playing it in concert over any other track on the album (I get the impression that he had, by that point, started to approach the making of records with live performance less in mind).
Hank's general sound had a lot more 'bite' on this album than he's used for decades, so I decided to add a touch of overdrive.
Originally written as an instrumental in 1960 for the Broadway version of a British play of the same name (which was turned into a movie in 1961), later given words and sung by The Beatles among others, here's my version of A Taste of Honey.
*I didn't share Lockdown Session 3 here as it was a vocal cover of a non-Shadows piece.
