Driftin' by The Shadows, stereo mix

Hi,

I was playing around with extracting lead for BTs purpose and came across this oldie. It is one of the probably 9 mono recordings of 1959.
Later at the end of the 60s there seems to be a recording with a separated bass that is from Japanese origin. A number of recordings were published in mock-stereo.
With the modern software is becomes easier to create your own mock-stereo version from a mono record. Here is my mock-stereo mix of Driftin', listen with headphones and you will hear the intro hiat moving from left to its final position and the voices that answer left to right and center.

Wow, that's pretty impressive!

What software do you use to achieve that? And is it expensive?

(Bet it is.)
