Marvin Tremolo Surround

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama! I recently picked up a "The Marvin" 64 reissue, and that plastic thingy that surrounds the tremolo plate was included in the case but not attached to the guitar. I can't figure how this is supposed to attach. Glue?

Yes. I'd try a good quality double sided sticky tape first though, as it might be a little easier to get a nice neat finish.

I'm surprised there wasn't some glue residue to be seen (assuming it was ever attached, of course).

The original 1960s Burns & Baldwin Marvins certainly had the trem plate surround attached with glue.
