Is this a Hank Marvin Sample?

I heard this on the radio(gram) earlier and couldn’t help wondering if it contains a Hank Marvin guitar sample (or him playing, or someone playing like him)?

You mean the bended string parts? It could be that the guitar player has taken inspiration from The Shadows' or Hank's works, but I think it's unlikely that Hank is the actual guitarist on this track.

The excellent WhoSampled site has a listing for it and reckons it's taken from a track by Imany called Don't Be So Shy. Yeah thanks, that’s definitely the one - excellent software there!

I’m not even sure it’s a guitar or synthesiser - it sounds very reminiscent of part of the melody of the version of Riders In The Sky with disco beat and octaved bass part (which is reasonably challenging for a bass player - especially first song in a set….)
