Bojan,
Well done. That was most impressive. You really achieve 'that Burns Sound".
Apart from your own skills and that beautiful guitar, what were the other links in the recording chain.
Keep these posts coming.
Cheers,
JB

Thoroughly enjoyed that Bojan.

Is there a chance of an mp3 version of that?

Thanks guys!

Actually, there are no links in the recording chain, just my guitar into my my PC via my humble Zoom 508 (set to bypass mode to act solely as a preamp). I did use three excellent plugins: Amplitube amp modeling to get a nice Vox AC30 sound, PSP Vintage Warmer for tube warmth, and the PSP 608 Multi Delay (for a realistic "dry" echo). For recording I use Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro. That's it.

In addition to the lead, I also recorded a separate rhythm track on the left channel (also Burns Apache) to make the sound fuller and more like the original (where Bruce is on the left channel).

Here is the mp3 version: http://www.4shared.com/audio/bPvlTJE3/Bossa_Roo.html

Once again, many thanks! :) :) :)

Hi Bojan,

That sounds very close to the Shadows version. You played it very well and the overall sound, Including the BT was excellent. The tone on your Burns is remarkably close to the original which I assume was also played by Hank on a Burns. Well done. I enjoyed listening to your rendition.

Cheers,
Len

Hi Bojan,
A delightful version professional played and recorded. The balanced tone and blending in with the excellent BT - both superbly done. Neat job.

Martyn
