PEACEPIPE and MEDLEY (Live Video)

Postby geronimo7476 » 25 Apr 2010, 22:22

Hi all. I played a gig with Simply Shadows, (as rhythm guitarist)
at the Blanchardstown Civic Centre, just outside Dublin on the 17th of this month. I didn't realise it was being video'd and although it was quite a distance away and a couple of 'first night' boo-boos, I felt you may like to see it
I still haven't recorded anything new so I hope you enjoy this.

L-R) CC, Joe Fortune, Mick Murphy and Joe Murphy

Cheers CC

Hi Charles,

The whole band were excellent in my opinion. I missed the part on your post about you playing rhythm guitar at first and was wondering who the rhythm guitarist was. It was you all along. You certainly play excellent rhythm guitar there Charles. I guess I've heard your rhythm work before since you probably make your own BTs, at least some of the time from what I recall. I might stand corrected on that though. I think that it really helps to see you all playing as a band. i thought that the quality of the recording was excellent. All the instruments stood out and the whole performance sounded very good indeed. I'm sure it sounded even better at the venue. It was all most enjoyable to listen to. Thanks for posting it.

Cheers,
Len

Thanks a mil Mikey, Ian (not long now)!!, Peter, Dave and Len. I enjoy this type of gig, It keeps you on your toes. True Len, I play rhythm on all my BTs and with this band I had no choice as no one else does, but I don't mind, I love it. I just wish I could convince Joe (On Lead) to change to a Strat, I let him use mine at practice on Monday night an it made one hell of a difference. Anyway, as long as I have a gig thats all that matters.
Thanks again for your great comments, I'll surely pass them on to the others.

Cheers CC
