I've played this terrific number of yours several times now at Shadows Clubs down here in the deep south and each time it has people jumping up asking what it is (despite my playing!)

In the good old days of 45 vinyl singles this would have been a sure fire number one.

Terry - a wonderful thing to say, thanks. Really happy that you enjoy playing this song - and I am sure that Kevin is up there smiling away too...I hope he is proud of his little bro. It was he that introduced me to The Shadows...and to being a guitarist.

More stuff on the way - have had a nightmare upgrading my studio to Windows 7!!!

Thanks for the kind words , Dont know about all the expert bit though , the only expert bit for me is your creditable composition which i enjoyed very much, writing instrumentals can at times be fraught with the danger of sounding similar to something else , but this has individuality , emotion and is refreshingly melodic and sincere, sadly knowing all this having been inspired by your thoughts and feelings with the tragic loss of your brother ,but he would be very proud of you Tony.

Re our exchange, I've eventually worked out how to get from mini disc (on which I recorded F.A.B.) to computer. I hope my rendition meets with your approval. It remains one of my favourite instrumentals and still meets with 'sit up and take notice' looks whenever it is played at club meetings down here in the south.

I still listen to "For a Brother" on a regular basis and it never fails to mke the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! I just wish i could play it as well as you.
