By way of tribute to The Shadows...

Hello to all British Shads' Fans from the other side of the Channel. It's a long time since I last had the pleasure of coming here, and my renewed registration gives me the opportunity of sending you the enclosed video, shot last september at "Shads in Breizh 2". It features a number I had penned in the late sixties, meant as a way of thanking the Shads for the Great Sound they had created, and the pleasure they have given us, ever since 1959!
This was recorded in Brittany last September, although without our usual bass player, Pat, who could not take part, and was replaced by an old friend of mine, Guy, who had had a hand in the original bass line of the tune, on the bass.
Although the quality is not up to great standards (video cams do their best, and our friend Claude also did, with his!) I do hope you will enjoy it and feel some of the emotion we tried to send through it.
