Hi Pete,

I thought that your instrumental rendition of the Bryan Adams song was simply brilliant. Great sound, technique and touch. It was all there as far as I was concerned.

That song was always one of my favourites. I think I actually prefer your version to The Shadow's instrumental version as it has a bigger sound more appropriate for the emotion expressed in the words of the song. I know that many here will think I am overstating this but to me, some of The Shadow's cover instrumentals occasionally lack something (perhaps a little like movie remakes or sequels that have lost something in the process). That is only one opinion I guess. However, my brother who was keen on the Shadows enough to go overseas from Australia to The British Isles to see Sir. Cliff Richard and The Shadows last year has said that for years, and I agree with him on that, though we probably don't agree on everything.

What I am really trying to say here is that I liked your rendition very much. Thanks for sharing it here.

In my opinion, this tune is not really well suited for an instrumental version, but it's so well played and the sound is so good that it works well !
