Here you are George. One was taken at the Newcastle City Hall where the guys played Don't Cry For Me Argentina before it was released as a single.

Note the price; £5.50. I'd have paid twice that! Oh! I did!

I got this photo from one of my friends. He bought it at a flee market. 196? I guess it's from a record promotion. On the back it says: Skandinavisk Grammophon Aktieselskab (Scandinavian Grammophone LTD)

Regarding the photo where the boys are holding the parcels: this is in the Me And My Shadows book that I have. It's been well documented before on one of the Shadowmusic sites but who is Tony's replacement here?

Martin.

Thanks Tom!

The 'replacement' is probably Laurie Jay who depped for Tony when he was unwell.

Brilliant pictures thanks a lot for posting them. I have a particular favorite, the one with Brian Locking on. The reason why is that as I type I have a photo of him and myself taken my living room late last year when he played with the Foottappers in Derby.

He also signed my Strat for me, what a lovely man too.

Steve.

Are The Shadows realy performing on the Isle of Wight in October, or is this a micky take, being new to this site I have noticed one or two
private jokes between members. But if they are I will start making arrangements NOW I checked out the link and it does not look like a
Royal Albert Hall venue so seats will be a premium at £16.50 I cant believe it. Somebody pinch me :o
