AC 30 top boost

Postby John Haldane » 10 Sep 2010, 17:04

HI
In my local cash converters they have an AC 30 top boost ,it only has one switch, no standby switch, and the speaker cloth as blue stitching through it, just wondered if any one would know how old it could be, and what would be a good price for it.

John,

I don't think the details you give are sufficient to date the amp.

Is it a JMI model? VSL? Something else?

Copper panel? Grey panel?

Blue speakers? Silver speakers?

What sort of voltage selector?

How many grilles (or holes for grilles)?

So many questions...

Hi jim
The problem is it is in the window and not easy to get at.I was told about the switch by someone who had seen it up close.

Whats the window ticket price? ALl I have ever seen in CC's has been duff stuf. They usually know what they are about and all the good gear gets creamed off by the Shop Staff I am sure.
cheers

£650 sounds a more than reasonable price for any AC30TB with the post-65 darker speaker cloth and a single mains switch.

Depending on condition and originality, obviously.
