Thanks Len, much appreciated.

For all those of you out there with technical limitations (like me), let me tell you how I have now cured the "latency" problem :)

Simples - I just increased the RAM on my laptop from 1.25Gb to 2Gb :D

I have no idea why this should be as you would think that 1.25 Gb was enough memory to sink a battleship, but it did the trick

Phil

p.s. I can recommend Crucial Memory http://www.crucial.com who provide a good quick service at very reasonable prices.

Hi Phil
You must have done this whilst we were away in Zummerzet !!
I've heard you play this a few times at Hankies and its always excellent. And this is no exception - The recording is great too.
Now you're getting the hang of it, you should really record more - you've some good tunes in your Rep that deserve a wider audience.
cheers

Thanks Phil and Ian.

I am still trying to get to grips with digital recording. At the moment I'm not happy with the guitar sound. One minute it sounds like it is coming through a tin roof and the next it sounds like it's being recorded through a pillow. Phil, even your video camera is producing a better sound than some of my Cubase efforts. I get quite jealous when I listen to the demo tracks recorded by Roger Allcock, Roger Paulsson and others  I guess I'll have to keep on trying.

Ian, you can hear some of my earlier efforts using my old Korg Pandora here: http://www.4shared.com/account/dir/GaazNq0j/sharing.html?rnd=19
