map of London with important Shadows places

I wish there were a map of London with all places of interest for Shadows fans.
I have tried to find the Two I's, but nobody in the street could tell me (more than 10 years ago).
It would be very interesting to see where the Shadows (C.Richard) live(d), where the studio's are (were).
And also the theatres and clubs where they played, where they bought their instruments; we could make a long list.

Hi Willem
Maybe we could build one ourselves with Google Maps. It's very easy to do and all it needs is a log in. Maybe it could be a combined effort.

Here's some info on the Two I's http://2iscoffeebar5670.blogspot.com/

Hank lived in Finchley for a while (Claverley Grove and Lullington Garth) as did Cliff (Etchingham Park Road I think), and some of the Shads may have lived in Abingdon Road (I was told that the bloke who shouted at me for celebrating a goal too loudly as I played football with my mates at the back of the flats was Jet :o ).

There's more out there if you Google it

Roger

Bruce lived in Hadley Highstone, Barnet when he was with Oliva Newton-John.In the various books about The Shadows it would be easy to build up a data base.

Hi Jim

Mrs Bowmans house in Holly Park is surely just to the South-East of the Crouch End map that you quote? A bit nearer Finsbury Park?

Ray

ps Excellent choice for your new avatar! I wonder how many people will realise what it is?

Try here:

http://maps.google.com/help/maps/mymaps/create.html

I believe you can create a google map where anybody can edit places, given the right permissions.

Thanks for all the places already mentioned.
Anyone, preferably a Londoner, who could start a Google map?

Bruce had a flat in St. Johns Wood overlooking the Lords Cricket Ground again with ON-J. The "Shadow Music HQ" in Savillke Row. The house in Hadley was Jerry Lordan'sa old house.

I've started one here if useful:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&msa=0&ll=49.95122,15.556641&spn=43.652429,135.263672&z=4&msid=105771068212028692043.00049450b244f363e86e8

At the moment I believe any one can add places. If it gets spammed we can close it up for invitation only. Any problems let me know.
