Hi all,

a question that keeps coming to mind is, when the Shadows got the greenburst set of guitars what was the reason for this? Was it simply just for a spare set of instruments or was it to make the guitars stand out better on screen for the appearances on film i.e. Finders Keepers, Rythm N Greens and the forthcoming advent of colour T V at the time?

As far as I know, they were just a set of spares. No idea why they chose that colour... which I love, by the way!

Possibly supplied by Burns to get more sales with an alternative colour to the white!

I recall hearing back then that the green set replaced the white set which were being serviced??
