SLEIGH RIDE, (Ventures Version)

Postby geronimo7476 » 04 Dec 2010, 07:13

Hi All and an early Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I have almost everything recorded by The Shadows and only one Ventures album, their Christmas one.
This tune, Sleigh Ride, is one of the tracks I like, I hope you like it too.

I used my 82 strat, P-Bass and Washburn Jumbo. Zoom2000 patch 10 directly into Cubase.

Hi CC
LOVELY JOB !!
Great Christmas tune of course and "that CC Sound" of your '82 makes it sound very 'Shadowy' even if it is a Ventures number. :D
Superb production as always. Nice sustain on the Strat and crystal clear BT and Lead.
ACE !!
cheers
Ian
ps - just LOVE that chord at the end of each "chorus" -what is it?? :o

Charles

Superb! As far as I am concerned better than the Ventures version - clearer and a better sound
Any chance of begging the backing track off you!!

Best Wishes

Tony
