I can understand people in the UK being angry with Sepp Blatter, but the fact remains that he is a foremost authority in football (soccer).
So, if he says that Hank Marvin plays in the Qatar team, then he does. And here is the proof: This is a picture of the Qatar team
taken after last year's victory over England. Hank Marvin is bottom right. ;)

Not sure that I can see what the fuss is about Bojan. Receiving only two votes in the first ballot can hardly be down to one man. Personally, if I was faced with David Cameron putting the case, I would reject it too. Prince William's qualification for putting the England case is getting free tickets to the FA Cup final for which he has to hand out the medals and present the cup. The case was hardly helped by the BBC's accusations of corruption amongst those voting for the host nation.

It is a bit arrogant to expect to win just for entering.

It would have been good for England to host the competition as it would also have brought income to Wales and Scotland but it is not to be. Not really worth getting in a lather about. It's only a game after all.
