Well I like it Jimbo!!
Its a great tune and often demeaned by Shads "fans" who believe that our boys should never have played anything but 'Originals'.
Smashing sound there too. For my taste I would have liked it a bit "rounder" but for Bareback pickups designed to be "early Shads" style they sound excellent.

Actually, I like this version more than the one by the Shadows. Unlike Ian, I like the edgier early Shadows sound in this song, which gives it a much more vintage flavor, suggestive of the sixties . . . and also more haunting, for lack of a better word. You did a fantastic job Jimbo!! I think that slow songs are sometimes more difficult to play than fast ones, at least if they are to sound right, and this one sounds just right!!!
