Daddy's Home

I've been trying for a few weeks to get to grips with a new recorder and this is my first effort using it. Maybe the lyrics are a bit twee but I've always liked the melody.

I used my Burns Anniversary for the lead part and a Strat for the harmonies.

Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Roger, I did enjoy it, very much. Lovely interpretation, great sound, and very polished and professional sounding . . . as usual!

Hi Roger,
I prefer this one as an instrumental, you've done a great job.
Nice clean sound and playing. Looks like you've got to grips with your new recorder.

Cheers Phil

Hi Roger

This is a very nice tune, played with the feelings it deserves and, don't get me wrong, very good to fall to sleep at a Saturday night
Great job.
Chers and goodnight

Thanks for that Franklin and Sylvia.

It's always been one of my Cliff favourites - not necessarily for the lyrics, but for me the melody and chord structure is what attracted me to it.
