BABY ELEPHANT WALK

Postby geronimo7476 » 10 Feb 2011, 23:53

Here's one I did this evening, It's a bit rough and there's not that many tracks.
I used my 82 Strat> a lot of compression> a bit of overdrive and not too much echo. There are no rhythm tracks only two tracks of damped playing in stereo, (like south of the border type of playing, I don't really know what that's called) and Fender Pbass
The drums are Groove Agent.
Hope you like it.... http://www.box.net/shared/eur2sz2bvu

That takes me back! Written by the same guy who wrote Pink Panther theme - Henry Mancini it was in the film Hatari in the early 60's.
You have captured the feel of the piece beautifully and those finger trills work out well.
Didnt need a lot of tracks - less is more in this particular case.
cheers

Hi Charles,
I liked that very much. The tone is very nice and the playing is just super.
What did you use for the compression?
