THEME FOR SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT

Postby geronimo7476 » 15 Feb 2011, 00:40

Hi everyone, Here's a Duanne Eddy tune beautifully covered by Jet Harris that I collabed with Ian (6Channel) not so long ago. I really enjoyed it then and wanted to post my own too.
I used my 82 Strat for all the lead parts. The main line and harmony has a bit of compression, delay and just a very little overdrive, while the noisy 'answering lead' has loads of compression and overdrive with a bit of stereo chorus. The rhythm was once again a borrowed Gibson J200, bass was Fender Precision and the drums, Groove Agent.

Hi Charles - A teriffic production   - best I've heard for this song it really brings it to life.
Like the stereo effects and I agree the J200 is awesome for rhythm, I ought to make more use of mine.
Cheers Phil

Hi Charles, I think I'm back on Earth now after the birth of our first Grandchild Chloe Jessica.
Charles, this is Magnificent!! The Business!
Loved the tone of the Lead and the way the OD guitar starts right and pans left down the fretboard during the infill runs.
A real beauty, Charles!
Brilliant BT all round too - catches Jaitch's Live mmod perfectly.
cheers
