Thing-Me-Jig and Turning Point

Postby tonykiek » 16 Feb 2011, 23:58

Here's a couple of tunes that George Lewis & I recorded a while back.

The first tune Thing-Me-Jig is from The Shadows album "Hits Right Up Your Street" and the second tune, Turning Point appeared on their "Guardian Angel" album.

So if you want to try playing these pieces yourself, the demos and backing tracks are available on the double CD Hammerhead available at:

Leo's Den
http://www.leosden.co.uk/

and from OzzieTrax
http://www.turningpointcd.com/

or you can buy the BT's separately as individual tracks from OzzieTrax.

Hi Tony,
2 great tracks really well played.  There's a lot to Turning point , double stops harmonics etc, and Think-a-me-jig is quite difficult to play without dropping a note. Congratulations to George for the playing and to you Tony for the Fine BT's.
Cheers Phil
