A Dream of Glory

This is an instrumental recorded some years ago by the Swedish group "1961" and was written by Lennart Clerwall.
I've used my usual gear and I hope that you like it.

Hi Roger
You always get the "1961 " sound spot on and this is no exception. Most excellent.
You havent overdone that characteristic trem dip at the end of each phrase either - just right.
Is there some special EQ needed to get that tone or does it just come naturally from Guitar/Amp/Echo combination
Brill BT too.
cheers

many thanks for your replies Ian and Eric.

Ian I don't use any special equipment for EQ other than adjusting the tone controls on the amp to suit. The echo is an Alesis Q2 fed into an AC15.

I do know that Ronnie Gustafsson in "1961" does use a dedicated EQ unit and from listening many times to his recordings I'm sure that there is a generous helping of reverb added to his guitar (as there was to so many of the early Shads records).
