NEW KID IN TOWN

Postby geronimo7476 » 19 Mar 2011, 21:52

Hi all, here's another Eagles tune. Having gigged it for many years, it was easy enough to know all the parts but the hardest part of all was getting Glen Freys phrasing in the lead line. It took forever but hopefully it was worth the time spent.
I hope you all enjoy it!
Cheers CC

Very nice and very well worthit indeed!

Instead of a Shadowmania, why don't one of you enterprising individuals organize a weekend fanjam at that big hotel and get all the players on this forum to play there?

There are so many great players around here, a weekend might not be enough time.
Whatchu gize think? :o

Hi Charles
What can I say? Another superb Eagles track turned into a superb Instro.
Absolutely perfect - all the Glen Frey vocals are there but in guitar form - amazing.
Stunning BT too - I adore the transition at 2.39 to 2.49  and that BT fuzz guitar at 4.18 etc etc is wonderful.
Magnificent!
cheers

Hi Charles,
Wow ! what a mission that must have been.
An incredible instro version of this song.
That's really some achievment - I can't think of any way you could improve that
amazing performance.
Cheers Phil
