Has it been a bit of a bugger downloading this size file then ?
Only if you have Tiscali !! 8mb my arse! Cant have VIrgin cos Perton isnt cabled.
In view of the hoohah regarding HD I thought everybody was in favour of it.
Prefer it in HD. Lower res gets 'blocky' on a full screen monitor.
Should I have done it as a smaller file as well ?
Probably. I still would have DLd the bigger one though - all the better to see you with my Dear.
There's 161 views but relatively few comments.
Nothing new there for this SIte :o
Or is it that you don't like it ?
I love a bit of Nostalgia and it cuts well into the modern vid of you playing your "Collection". IS that "Sonar" running on your Monitor?Cheers

OK, I'll use Youtube, is there any point in putting big files there ?
Do they not get down-qualitied (?) anyway ?
It's Audition 3 running on the screen.
I have Cubase 5 but it goes barmy when I try to use effects.
Did you like the drumming bit in the middle , or the use of stereo in certain 12 string runs and chords , or the chord from Day in the Life at the end ?
I thought I got a great bite from the Cakeocaster .
The fretless guitar ?
Reversed run towards the very end ?
I tried to make it all interesting and above all, entertaining.
New tunes have to be listened to to get them in your head.
No Amanda dear, it wasn't John Lennon's gravestone, it was the toilet !
How do you insert Youtube links so as to show the picture ?
Cheers all,
Ecca

Ecca
just a quickie - and we know how you like quickies!! :P
To insert the youtube link and have it show the video directly, you just right click copy the youtube url reference for it off the youtube page, click on the "youtube" button (in this header) and then paste the url in between the brackets's.
Simples!
Thus

You can look on Youtube and see how many hits it has had.
AFAIK - if you upload it at full Res, (and that CAN take a long time) that is how it is stored and viewed. It follows that if some folks (like me!) get lousy bandwidth occasionally it can stop/start as it buffers up slower than it can stream. I findthat DLing the video file off Youtube a more satisfactory solution if it does that and go and do something else whilst its getting on with it.
I must away - - - - - ! :)

Stratpicker - put your cartoon back immediately

Hankies are not numbers - they are free men (except Roger I, Roger II, Roger III and Roger IV, who are just numbers)
(ex-guitar player) - now a ukulele and ukulele bass player!
Update: After 10 years absence, now a born-again Hankie

Ecca - great playing, great tune, great film. I enjoyed it all.

Just one thing, 'a quick fag on the plane' has a completely different meaning in the US. I presume you were smoking a cigarette!!

Yes JIm, amazing in this day and age isn't to think that you could smoke on the plane.
Boingy, were you in the USA at that time ?
I didn't see you.

Thanks all.
When I went to America in 1972 it was the first time I'd flown.
In a bloody Jumbo, what a cack panter, they go up at about 45 degrees don't they ?

It was also the first time I'd been out of Bloxwich and they didn't understand one word I spoke in Chicago.
I had to communicate so within a day or so I was speaking the most immaculate Queen's English which got throuh.
However..... I felt such a twit doing this that I then developed an almost perfect American accent for the duration of the 3 weeks I was there.
I no longer stuck out like a sore thumb amongst em but my wife was soon onto me to lose it when I got home.
Cheers
