The original was wtitten in 1954 by Stuart Hamblen.
Made famous by Shakin' Stevens which was a number One hit in 1981 & re-released it in 2005.
The Shadows did a great version on their "Diamonds" CD in 1989
which this version is based on.

I used a very old multi effects unit called Pandoras Box a Toneworks product made by Korg which had the sound I was looking for.

A very tricky number Phil and you played it really well.

I've sometimes thought about having a go at it but the mandolining in the middle puts me off. Is it just me that has trouble with that - maybe there's some secret that I haven't heard about yet!?
