Superb!

I've got the Strat, the TVS and I'm playing the right notes in the right position.

Can I borrow Paul for a couple of days to come and tweak the settings??

Hi Terry

I'm sure if enough people toss in(airfare/accomodation/food/red wine) for an in-house seminar with Paul, he would most obligingly make the trip over :D :D :D

If you start your TVS3 settings at drive level at around 7, echo @4 and feedback at between 3-4, you will have the basis for good progress.
You then need to tweak the amp, mike placement and check how both sound in the room you are using. We have a few TVS people who can reproduce what we can...so its only a matter of tweaking and patience
The EQ charts we have shown will be all thats left to do..thats it!!

Cheers

Hi Spike and crew

25 odd minutes of pure magic. I could see the rabbits being pulled from the sleeve (with the equalisation settings there to see) so to speak and was still left speechless. Wow!

Just one thing what does "on axis" actually mean?

Hi Paul Gary and Spike,
That is 'Brilliant' thank you for all your time and effort to show us how you get 'That Sound'.

The only sad bit for me was seeing Gary standing a drink on the Amp!
Having killed an Amp myself in the sixties by doing just that I vowed never to put a drink on an Amp again. Rant over!!

Best regards,
Baz.

Just back from talk the dogs for a walk along the River Derwent in Tassie.

Questions and Questions! I hope you can bear with me.

How loud did you have the amp when you were recording it? Were you pushing it hard? How long a lead were you using between TVS and amp?

regards

Michael

Thanks Roger

I'm still confused. Were some of the tunes recorded with the mic slightly off axis? Or am am I wrong in making that inference?
