The second prototype, the first one to use the printed circuit, is being built. Once tested and debugged, the schematics and printed circuit layout will be made public for anyone who wish to build one. This is labor of love from JeanClaude, not intended to generate profits.
If Jean-Claude's documentation is not too big, I'll make a translation into english.

It should be added that like the former Atlantis echo unit, this one doesn't have any kind of storage for patches, all settings adjustements are manual.

Fantastique !

If it can do Wonderful Land and Apache it will do most others.
( except Flingel Bunt, which is.....odd. )

2 Questions.....

How, precisely is the timing achieved on the heads ?

How is this measured ?

The delay time is set by an adjustable and is not accessible on the front, only the level of each head is editable.
The heads are adjusted for echomatic2: 100,200,280,350
And a switch to select another group of delay for échomatic 1 equal to 125,350,425,600 ms
These two settings can cover the entire period the Early Years! the level of the heads being adjustable front re-injection and the level of W/E
In fact all my recordings presented has been carried out with 100.200.280.350! (even for Apache!)
I just changed the level of the echoes and the reinjection
To adjust the delay time, it must have an oscilloscope or a simple software such as Audacity,
Make a mute record this mute leaving only an echo and looking at soft time between the direct signal and the first delay . Adjust the adjustable to have time to 100 ms and same for the other 3 delays and then switch to position 2 to 4 other delays
These settings are qu "to do only once!
There are two other adjustable to the inside
To adjust the level of entry of the guitar, and another to address the relationship between a furnace and the other two in F/W!
For Wonderfulland I put only the JCechoFDS
For other records there is either a G7 or a POD XT. Which allows me to have presets Simulator amplifier (AC15, AC30) and reverb
I don't use amplifiers, but simulators of amplifier of the G7 or the XT POD directly in the mixing console, or the JCechoFDS directly to the console of mixing

Regards
JC

So, the echo times are set with preset potentiometers ?

That's right, but they are internal pots in two groups which must be set to reproduce Meazzi Echmatic 1 an 2 heads timing, a front switch selects one of the two.
That's the switch labelled E 1/2 :

There are four pots on the left, but they are for each echo volume, not timing.

So the blue presets are the 2 echo times settings for each IC ?
