Hi All,

I hope you are all doing Ok.
Lucky are those who attended Shadowmania.
I believe it should take place twice a year as it is so much enjoyed by all.
Spiro's posting of Gary's excellent Blue Star prompted me to post my recording of it done a few years ago.
It was the only tune I recorded with my then new and beautiful Burns Marquee.

I hope you like it.

Blessings to all,
Abel

Hi Abel,

I think you might have posted The Shadows playing Blue Star by mistake. The file is identiocal to the original.

Regards,

paul.

My God how did this happen ?.
I am so ashamed because I should have known better. I had both files in the same directory, I can't believe it.
Thank you so much Paul and Spiro, you saved me early enough before it was too late.
It would have never, ever crossed my mind to do such a thing
About a month ago, I put my version on Youtube, I am glad I didn't put the original then.
I am dumbfounded by what happened here. I guess I am ready for retirement. Unbelievable.
It was absolutely a huge mishap. I had no doubt I was putting my version, but what's funny is that I said to myself Bruce's nice arpeggio had been replicated so well by the UBHank band who made the BT, when in fact the BT doesn't emphasize the arpeggio.
I hope I will be forgiven for this terrible mistake. I will be having nightmares about this for a long time.
I have now replaced the original by my version on Youtube. So sorry about this really.

Blessings to all,
Abel

Abel, I too thought it was the closest I had ever heard and and then realized that it was the Shadows. Your mistake is totally understandable. It could have happened to anyone. Your version is great!!!
