Just for fun i thought i'd record Yakety Axe, used the telecaster through a preamp straight into Studio One.......Video camera needs a new lead so added a few pictures to perhaps amuse

Brave man Rob, keep at it and you'll soon iron out those little timing issues, it isn't easy to play, well done !

Thanks Dave...
I'll play it out with the band for 3 months and re_record it then, that should run it in a bit

Keith thanks....i finger picked this one, thumbpick and fingers. The thumbpick doing the down strokes and fingers doing the up, i find i can play more fluid and faster lines this way.

Thanks Dave, Keith, Ecca and 51 Relic comments appreciated......did give this a try on a strat but i find the tremelo mech fights back when you try to bend the strings, perhaps needs more springs in there, perhaps an hardtail strat would be the answer...I'm finding the mini humbucker in the tele's neck position really is a bonus for my style of playing.
Many thanks....
Rob :)

Hi Rob,
Great style of playing I really liked it - watched your others on YouTube so I could see the style.
Great sound from that telecaster really suited the song.
Nice one.. Phil

Thanks Phil
Yes its a great style if you can get into it, takes a bit of patience to get the co_ordination, the playing is in the right hand......Will have to buy a new video camera as the other one has seen better days.
Admire your work....
Regards
