Hello folks...

Here is another original one from me - this time recorded with my really nice new Squier 70's Strat - all black, looks just like Hank's famous 80's one! Has Duncan pick ups and I have changed the trem block to cold rolled steel. Photo below if you are interested.... Very different from my usual strat - but really lovely clean tones...just on the edge...

This tune is a grower - I know it's a long one (soz ecca), but stick with it... there is a journey...

I was thinking more of Jeff Beck with that trem pulling, swooping and sliding ( EccaFace will just love that!) and Mark K's "On The Waterfront" period of music.
What a brilliant sound - on the edge of "too much" but somehow just Spot On.
All the characteristic Tolo harmonic style is there and a few "signature" licks.
Absolutely brill, my friend.
On my studio speakers the clarity is stunning - just shows how good it can sound when the download is in High Def (nearly 14mb - wow!).

Fantastic Tony Brilliant playing and what a sound from that Squier, I dont care what anyone says about them being inferior guitars to Fenders, I think they are great instruments(I have two of them) for the money and would'nt be without them. I have also got Duncans on one of them but they sound great with the original pups too.
As said, it is very Dave Gilmour but also very Gary Moore in the use of the trem I think. You've obviously spent a lot of time and effort on that one and well worth it too mate
Would have been nice if you'd done a video like you usually do but brilliant nevertheless.

Hi Tony, If someone had told me this is a track of Gilmore's new album - I wouldn't have doubted it for a second. It's up there with the the sound, playing and production. Some great sound affects and a smashing composition. Loved it .. Phil

As Phil said, very Gilmore-esk and superbly produced extremely well executed - and I know people have said it time and time again, but you really should be writing for film / television this really is exceptional.
