DESPERADO

Postby geronimo7476 » 02 Nov 2009, 17:11

Hi Shadows UK, I've been off line for a while and It was good to be able to get into my studio again for a short while. My good friend Paul Lyttle made this BT for me about two years ago and tonight I thought Id give it a go. It's another of those tunes that don't always do what you think they will, Anyway, a desperate tune in desperate times. I hope you enjoy it.
Cheers CC

Very much enjoyed your rendition of Desperado.
This song is a personal favourite of mine reminding me of the times my son used to sing it
whilst a professional musician (drummer).
I would very much like to have a go at playing an instrumental version.
Is the BT available?

Thanks again

Hi Charles
Good to hear you back recording.
A very emotional song (remember Talons wonderful interpretation of it?) and very emotional playing from you ,certainly once the second verse came along and thereafter.
Strong, Powerful and full of feeling!
Just Excellent, my friend!!
cheers
Ian

Thankyou all so much. I appreciate your good words. My friend Paul is indeed a gifted muso and played keyboards and lead in an Eagles tribute band here in Ireland for many years and I give him all the credit for this beautiful tune.
Thanks again CC

:) Ditto here - an excellent performance and recording.
(I'd also be interested in the BT if it should be available).

Cheers,

Hi Charles - Another great CC rendition of a great number. Glad to see that you are back in the studio and also "on line" on the site. Hope that you are keeping well.
Sorry to hear about the Dublin club.
(I don't know whether you remember Gerry Sayer, one of CT's top drummers, but he and his wife were recently over here in the UK for a couple of weeks to see the Reunited tour and to spend a few days with Patricia and myself and of course we spent a lot of time chatting and reminiscing about the "old days" and many of the "old" names).
Best wishes
John
