Which VST host ?

Postby db133 » 29 Sep 2012, 09:30

Hi

I am looking to find a good, "Free VST Host Software" to run the Etap2 emulator on Windows 7.

There are several available but which one for the Etap 2 emulator, Windows 7 and a novice ?

Any input will be most appreciated.

Kind regards.

I use "Chainer" and it works great for me. It's free as far as I remember.

By the way, Chainer is not for recording, it's for playing live . . . no latency . . .

Hi

Do you use Chainer with Windows 7 ?

Are you on the demo or the full registered version ?

This is one of a few you can use as a chainer. It's an audio editor and supports chaining VST in real time (on the fly) unlike other free software multitrackers I've seen. If I didn't have Sony's Soundforge 9 at huge cost I would choose this as my editor,

Read the whole lot on the webpage and you'll not go wrong.

The tuts are here. Start the vids located beneath each screen shots. http://www.wavosaur.com/tutorial.php

I'm from Yorkshire, as is Robbo and I make no appologies. No reflection on you Bo,
