Thanks Gary, though it is a tad too slow (the repeat that is) . . . .

Hi Dave,

Thought Flingel Bunt was terrific. Great tone. I bought a Burns 40th Anniversary and just cannot get a Burns tone out of it. What's the secret?

It's a Burns 40th anniversary on that track John - other than 'pilot error' I don't know how you can fail to hear the same tone. Are you going through a Vox amp?

Nice sound in Flingal Bunt. It was as you said a wee bit on the slow side but it does give a chance to put in some expression though. I liked your version of it 8-)

Thanks for listening and for the positive comments, nice to know we're on track.
It's the echo speed that is slower Hugh, not the tempo of the track.

The backing track I play it to is much faster than your version that why I made that comment,it felt slow to me. Your's is probably the original speed then. Its many years since I listened to the original. When I found the backing track, I just played it straight away from memory without digging out a Shads version.

Hi Robbo, That was the closest 'sound-alike' of anything I've heard before!! I also use a 40th anniversary through my CC2x but I find this Vox, as good as it is, is way more powerful than a good old Top Boost and there is a huge difference in the sound. Whatever you've done, you've really cracked it, Brilliant!
I would really like to hear samples of the Copicat Gold without the Shads BT so I can hear the sound degeneration of the repeats, even a short bit, if possible.

Foottapper was cool, but I suspect that Hank doubletracked his lead line here, however the Echo is the main issue here and this too sounds good.

Good post Robbo, Cheers CC
