Only just having the chance to catch up. A great s/f Ian, that really does work as an instro. I'm sure Macca would agree. :) Bet you had fun restoring that beauty. Makes me tired to think of the work you put into it, but is was definitley worth the efford it sounds wonderful.

Great choice of Beatles melody there Ian and the guitar has an unusual tone which really sounds good.

There can't be many acoustics fitted with two pickups and a trem !!!!

Thanks Brian, Roger and Phil for the feedback.
Certainly an unusual tone from the Virginian. That trem is a B---r! So hard to keep the guitar on pitch.
A Zoom2000EFTP might be Old Hat these days but does a nice job on the damped echoes here.
cheers

That bit about your Zoom 2000 with EFTP being 'Old Hat' is a load of tosh (putting it politely) - the only thing that matters is the final result and in this case the result is excellent.

My sentiments exactly, Roger.
I'm not out to capture any particlular 'that sound' nor have the bottomless pit budget that some of the modern units seem to go for - whether justifiable or not - so the Zoom2000EFTP has to do for me.
Glad you enjoyed it.
cheers
