Blue Peter. Video

Postby Phil McGarrick » 08 Mar 2013, 14:40

Blue Peter, first broadcast in 1958, is the world's longest-running children's television programme. It is still running now on BBC 2 in the UK.
Mike Oldfield's single was released in 1979.
I played my PRS over the top of Mike's recording.
I used my VOX AC30 on full volume with a Weber mass attenuator DI output.
A Samson guitar radio transmitter to reach the Alesis Quadraverb Q2 then into Presonus Audiobox USB and Cubase on the computer.
Hope you like my version of Blue Peter.

Hi Phil that was different but excellent
It looked a difficult piece and needed quick and nimble fingers
Excellent performance

Hi Lynn - Yes it is a lot different to the Hank ones I normally play.
I'm a big fan of Mike Oldfield so nice to play some of his occasionally.
Thank you very much for commenting - always very much appreciated.

All the best.. Phil
