SLEEPWALK 2009

Postby Stratpicker » 13 Nov 2009, 22:03

This version owes more than nod to Hank’s modern extemporary style and sound when he plays to this Arrangement “Live”.
Brason Strat –Zoom2000EFTP (Meazzi patch 36)-VoxVT60 (ac30)-Shure PG57 (for Sale in MarketPlace) to Cakewalk.
Compression is Vox VT60 amp model.
I added small amount of Overdrive in Cakewalk GTPro2 (Oldie but goody) to give a bit more of an “analogue” flavour to it and it helps give that raunchy ‘Live’ sound that Hank seems to favour when going Solo.
The BT is the one that came free some years ago with a Magazine but has been modded by me to suit.

What a super rendition of this classic Shadows number. There is no doubt about it Ian you have that extra touch which separates the average good player to one who has the necessary feel for the tune they are playing and makes them stand out from the rest. Absolutely brilliant mate.
kind regards

Many thanks Brian, Phil, Roger, Lynn, Charles, Jimbo (good to see you back!) and Rob.
Rob - your cheque is in the Post!! Wanna be my Agent?? :lolno:
It was great fun to do and basically went down in two takes (interrupted by Friday Nights 'Tea' ) but as CC knows there was some repair work to be done before it could be posted.
cheers
