Line6 POD HD Tests x 6

Recently bought a Line6 POD HD and been busy programming the echos and amps into it for Shads sounds. Then after selling even more gear off I bought a new home studio Zoom R24 and thought I would see what the POD HD sounds like recorded.

The POD HD provides the echos and the amp sims with amp EQ as usual and the R24 is used to EQ the sound and added reverb where needed. I did not resort to matching exactly to record just from memory only. I was mainly concerned as to the echos and sounds of the POD after my efforts and of course to try out the new studio. All backings are the original artists with lead removed.

Keith the links do work for me and judging by the file stats others have managed to listen so maybe it is something else. Maybe try right clicking on link and 'open in another tab/window' might help.

I think that had I have made a comparison to the originals when I eq'ed the guitar I would have took more bottom end out as they are a little bassy sounding however the echos and the echo mix was my interest here along with the amp sounds overall. New gear so need a bit more time with it to get the best from it.

The point is that the only unit in use here for echos and amp sim is the POD HD and I think there is good potential here for getting a great Shadows sound from this unit.

No will not be doing that Van the echos are based on EFTP for Magicstomp and Charlie Hall does not want me to pass settings around which I agreed to do in respect to his work.
